Wednesday evening choir

I sing every other week on Wednesday evenings with a fixed group of about 25 people in Cultuurhuis de Paulus, in the middle hall. Twice a year we perform at the Voice Up end-of-term concerts. We sing songs you help choose, for example Sound of Silence and Malaika. Sign up now.

• 12 evenings, €15 per evening, €180 per person. You can pay in one go or in 2 payments of €90.

New: the Voice Up Daytime Choir

Do you have time and a wish to sing during the day? From Monday 11 January 2027 I sing with you every Monday morning from 10.30am to 12pm in the Consistorie of De Paulus, on the ground floor and without stairs. From 10:15 coffee, tea and something sweet are ready.

Every morning stands on its own. We learn one song and sing it all the way through at the end. With or without singing experience, you can join any week. There are no sessions during school holidays.

Which song do we open with? You help decide: You've Got a Friend (Carole King), Count on Me (Bruno Mars) or Zing, vecht, huil, bid, lach, werk en bewonder (Ramses Shaffy).

On Monday 18 January, Blue Monday, I pay extra attention to anyone having a hard time. That morning you may bring a friend for free. Prices and how to buy a punch card follow in early December.
